  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to cook spaghetti pasta with garlic? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Any pasta is suitable for pasta: long (spaghetti, fettuccine, linguine) or medium (penne, farfalle, fusili, penne, etc.). I settled on spaghetti. Read more about the intricacies of choosing pasta in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the chili pepper, dry it, remove seeds and cut into rings. If you want a hotter sauce, leave out the seeds. There are two types of chili pepper: red is more spicy, green is less spicy. If you wish, you can omit the chili pepper altogether. or replace it with sweet bell pepper. It is worth noting that in the finished dish the spiciness is practically not felt.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, dill, cilantro, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs. I do not recommend adding chopped basil - it will quickly turn black and lose its taste even at the stage of frying in a frying pan (step 6). It is better to decorate the finished dish with fresh basil.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

On the stove, boil a large amount of salted water at the rate of: per 100 g of pasta, approximately 1 liter of water and 1 tbsp. l. salt without a slide. However, I advise you to put a little less salt, because we will still have a salty sauce. Place the spaghetti in the water and cook until al dente, about 7-8 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

While the pasta is cooking, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over low heat. Add garlic and chili pepper and fry for 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Add chopped herbs, salt and pepper to the pan and stir. Turn off the heat. Read about how to choose the right vegetable oil and frying pan in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the finished spaghetti in a colander and let the water drain.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the spaghetti in the pan with the sauce and stir.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place spaghetti with garlic on plates, pour over the remaining sauce from the frying pan and serve, garnished with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
