STEP 1

How to cook a simple soup with stew? To do this, you will need the most budget products, which are almost always in stock. I will add rice to the soup. But it can be replaced with vermicelli, pearl barley or lentils. In any case, you will get a tasty and satisfying first course. Peel onions, carrots and potatoes and rinse in running water to remove dirt.

To prepare the soup, pour water into a saucepan and place on fire. Bring it to a boil.
STEP 3

While the water is heating, cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces. Rinse the prepared rice several times in cold water. Then drain all the water from it. Add rice and potatoes to a pot of boiling water. Leave to cook for 15 minutes.
STEP 4

At this time, prepare the vegetables. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots.
STEP 5

Heat a small frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil onto it. Add chopped onions and carrots. Stirring, fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.

Then place the stewed meat in the pan. Wait for it to melt.
STEP 7

Mix vegetables with stew. Warm everything up well.
STEP 8

Add the roast with the stew to the pan. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Keep in mind that the stew is already a little salty. Therefore, taste the soup before adding salt.
STEP 9

Boil the soup for another 5-7 minutes. Taste the rice to see if it's done. As soon as it becomes soft, the soup is ready! Remove the pan from the heat, pour the soup into prepared bowls and serve.
STEP 10

When serving, you can sprinkle the soup with chopped fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
