Peel, chop and cook the apples on the stove with a little sugar for about 25 minutes.

    Add sugar, salt, vanillin on the tip of a knife (otherwise it will add bitterness to the finished dessert), beat in two chicken eggs. Using a blender or mixer, stir the ingredients until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency. Wash eggs with baking soda before use, as there may be harmful bacteria on their surface.

    Divide the chilled shortbread dough into two or three parts, depending on the size of the baking dish. Roll each of them into a layer no more than 1 cm thick. I had jam, although not apple, but apricot. The dough turned out very tender. After it was in the refrigerator, the dough became denser, but still remained soft. It rolls out very well. I divided the dough into two parts. Each cake was baked for 10 minutes at 220 degrees. Then I did everything according to the recipe. I got 8 cakes. The cakes turned out very tasty, moderately sweet. The cakes were perfectly soaked in jam and turned out soft. It seems to me that one layer of jam can be replaced with some kind of cream. Thank you very much for the recipe!
