STEP 1
How to make a salad with potato pie and chicken? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. The chicken will be smoked; breast, drumsticks and thighs will do. I used the last ones. Take pickled or salted cucumbers. You can make your own mayonnaise. You will find recipes for homemade mayonnaise after the last step. Also prepare a deep bowl for the salad.
STEP 2
Boil the eggs hard. Read about how to do this correctly in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. Cool the finished eggs, peel and chop. Place the crushed eggs into a prepared deep bowl. You can also use a cooking ring to assemble the salad. So it will turn out not only tasty, but also beautiful.
STEP 3
Remove the pickled cucumbers from the jar and cut them like eggs. Place the cucumbers in the salad bowl.
STEP 4
Separate the smoked chicken meat from the bones, remove the skin and cut into small pieces. Send the chicken to the eggs and cucumbers.
STEP 5
Wash the potatoes well under running water and peel them. Cut it into strips. Convenient to make using a Korean carrot grater. Rinse the potatoes under water in a colander to remove excess starch.
STEP 6

Place the prepared potatoes in hot oil and fry them until tender. Place the potato pie on paper napkins to remove excess fat.
STEP 7
If the salad is prepared to be served immediately, then place the fried potatoes on the chopped ingredients and serve immediately. If the salad has to sit, I recommend not adding potatoes to the salad for now, otherwise it will become soft and lose its charm. Bon appetit!
