    How to make a roast with vegetables and meat? Prepare the required products. You can take lamb tenderloin and part of the carcass with bones. As you can see, I have a rib part. Wash the vegetables thoroughly, then dry and peel. You can use a special brush for this. Clean the meat, wash and dry.

    If necessary, trim meat from bones. Place a cauldron or thick-bottomed pan of suitable size on the stove. Fry the meat in it with vegetable oil until golden brown.

    Cut the prepared vegetables, carrots and onions into medium-sized cubes. I don’t recommend cutting it very finely, otherwise everything will turn into mush during the cooking process.

    Gradually add vegetables to the roasting meat, stirring to prevent burning. And continue to simmer everything for about ten minutes.

    Cut a ripe tomato into cubes. And add it to the cauldron with the rest of the ingredients. Lightly fry everything together. Then pour in boiling water. You need enough boiling water to cover the entire contents of the pan. Simmer everything at a low simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes, covering the cauldron with a lid. At the end, add salt to taste and spices. Oregano, thyme, mint, and fennel go well with meat.

    It's the turn of the potatoes. Cut it into cubes and add to the pan. To enhance the taste, you can pre-fry it in a frying pan. But I just finished it half-cooked in the microwave. You can add it raw too. Now cook everything until the potatoes are ready.

    Serve the roast lamb hot with sprigs of herbs.

I cooked a roast with vegetables and meat for lunch. The preparation was easy and I did everything quickly. Instead of a cauldron, I took a frying pan and a saucepan with a thick bottom. I fried the meat (I used pork), onions and carrots. I added tomatoes (I had frozen ones), simmered a little and transferred the meat and vegetables to the pan. Added salt, poured hot water over everything, and let it simmer on low heat for 40 minutes. Then I added potatoes to the pan; unlike other vegetables, I chopped them coarsely. Cooked the roast until the potatoes were done. I really like this way of preparing the second one. You get excellent results quickly and easily. My roast turned out to be aromatic, juicy, in a pleasant sweet and sour sauce, if you can call that the broth that formed during stewing. Very tasty! Thank you so much for the recipe!

This dish will delight every lover of delicious food. I don’t have a cauldron, so I decided to cook a roast with vegetables and meat in pots in the oven. I especially liked the idea of ​​using lamb. I prepared it as the author recommends, only I put the potatoes in raw and baked them in the oven until done. This is delicious! Thanks a lot!
