STEP 1
It is best to use a young rabbit. Chop the carcass into small portions. Rinse well in running water and dry with a paper towel.
STEP 2
To prepare the marinade, mix soy sauce, sour cream and mustard in a separate bowl.
STEP 3
Add dry spices and mix well.
STEP 4
Toss the rabbit pieces in the marinade until they are evenly coated. Leave to stand for 3-4 hours to marinate the meat.
STEP 5
Line a baking dish with foil. Place marinated rabbit meat. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan over the meat.
STEP 6
Cover the top with foil and tuck the edges so that the meat is well covered. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees for 1.5 hours. Let the meat bake without foil for the last 30 minutes until it browns a little. Serve hot. Bon appetit!

I had half a rabbit carcass frozen. I decided to cook it according to the rabbit recipe in foil in the oven. I didn’t have soy sauce, instead I added a tablespoon of 9% vinegar. For dry spices I used a mixture of Italian herbs. The rabbit was marinated for about three hours. I baked the rabbit for 1.5 hours. The rabbit turned out fragrant, rosy, it was well baked. My husband especially liked it. He said it turned out very tasty. Thank you very much for the recipe!
