Quick fish cracker cake without baking
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a fish cake without baking? Prepare the ingredients for the base first. As you can see, there are only three ingredients. I recommend using whole condensed milk with a fat content of 8.5 percent. Yogurt is natural, without additives, unsweetened, because condensed milk already has enough sugar. You can replace the fish with any other cracker you wish.
STEP 2
In a separate bowl, mix yogurt with condensed milk.
STEP 3
Add cookies to the resulting cream and stir. Please note that I do not chop it.
STEP 4
Leave the cookies in the cream at room temperature for 1 hour. During this time it will be well soaked.
STEP 5
Divide the infused mixture with cookies in half, place it in two identical forms and level it. Place both pans in the refrigerator or freezer for another 1 hour.
STEP 6
Prepare ingredients for making cream. You can replace cottage cheese with soft cottage cheese. Choose butter with high fat content, natural, and it should be soft.
STEP 7
Combine soft butter with condensed milk and stir until smooth.
STEP 8
Add cottage cheese and mix well again. There is no need to whisk, just stir with a spoon, fork or spatula.
STEP 9
Prepare the ingredients for the filling. In principle, you don’t need to add it at all, the cake will turn out delicious without it. But for juiciness, I still recommend adding it. For me these are strawberries, which can be replaced with any other aromatic berries or fruits, both fresh and frozen.
STEP 10
Wash the strawberries, dry them, remove the stems. Cut the berries into medium pieces.
STEP 11
Start assembling the cake. Assemble the cake in a culinary ring: the first layer is made of cookies, one of two, which we had frozen in the refrigerator.
STEP 12
Place one of the two strawberries in a single layer on top of the cookie layer.
STEP 13
Spread half of the curd cream over the strawberries and smooth the surface.
STEP 14
Place the remaining strawberries on top of the cream in one layer.
STEP 15
Place the second frozen cookie crust on top of the strawberries.
STEP 16
Spread the top and sides of the cake with the remaining curd cream and smooth the entire surface. Instead of a special iron, this can be done with a wide and flat spatula or knife.
STEP 17
Sprinkle the top and sides with cookie crumbs and refrigerate the cake for 2 hours. Before serving, decorate the No-Bake Fish Cake with strawberries and mint.
