STEP 1
How to cook pumpkin puree soup for children? Prepare your food. Take fresh or frozen pumpkin; give preference to sweet and dessert varieties. Frozen pumpkin does not need to be thawed first. Wash the vegetables well and dry. Use 10% cream so that the soup does not turn out too high in calories.
STEP 2
Peel and rinse the potatoes and carrots well under the tap.
STEP 3
Cut the vegetables into large cubes and place in a cooking pot.
STEP 4
Puree soup can be cooked in water or any broth: chicken, meat, vegetable. For children, it is preferable to use chicken broth or plain water. Pour water over the vegetables and let them cook. When the water boils, reduce the heat and cook the vegetables at a low simmer until fully cooked. Add pumpkin cubes and cook until the pumpkin is soft, add salt to taste.
STEP 5
Puree the vegetables with an immersion blender directly in the pan. Or transfer to a food processor glass and grind in it. Be careful - the soup is hot.
STEP 6
Pour the cream into the saucepan with the creamy soup.
STEP 7
Bring to a boil, turn off the heat and let the soup brew for a while. Serve pumpkin puree soup for children warm; you can additionally add croutons or croutons to it. Bon appetit!
