Puff puffs with peaches

This is a type of sugar puff with the addition of peaches. For puff pastries, it is better to use puff pastry without yeast, but if this is not available, then puff pastry with yeast will do. In addition to peaches, you can use pears, plums and other fruits.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare puff pastry with peaches we will need: puff pastry without yeast (if you take store-bought dough, it is better in plates, it is more convenient to roll out and cut)

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer no more than 5 mm thick. If the dough is ready in plates, then you do not need to roll them out much. Cut the dough into equal rectangles or squares. Transfer the dough pieces to a baking sheet lined with parchment.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the peaches and dry them. Cut in half, remove seeds. Cut each peach half into 3-4 slices. Next, you can sprinkle the peaches with sugar and mix gently so as not to damage them. I did it differently.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

I sprinkled some of the sugar on the surface of the puffs, laid out the peaches and sprinkled with the remaining sugar.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place 3-4 peach slices on each dough rectangle.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Leave the puff pastry to rise for 10-15 minutes. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 20 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface of the dough. Do not open the oven during baking.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Remove the finished puff pastries from the oven, cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with mint. You can serve hot, warm or cold. Bon appetit!
