  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make envelopes from puff pastry with cottage cheese? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. If you are using store-bought puff pastry, remove it from the freezer in advance to allow it to thaw.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

For the filling, combine cottage cheese, sugar, egg and a pinch of vanillin. Stir. There is no need to beat the curd filling, otherwise it will become liquid. If the cottage cheese is very wet, you can add a little starch to the filling. If desired, you can add some raisins or dried apricots.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Roll out the puff pastry a little and cut into squares.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place 1-2 tablespoons of curd filling in the center of each piece of dough. Bring the corners of the dough together in the center and pinch.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cover a baking tray with baking parchment and lay out the prepared envelopes with cottage cheese. Brush the top of each envelope with egg yolk and sprinkle with a little sugar. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25-35 minutes. When baking, use your oven as a guide.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Puff pastries with cottage cheese are ready! They will turn a delicious golden color. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, transfer the curd envelopes to a plate and help yourself!

Such sweet pastries will be very tasty with tea or coffee, milk or juice! Very tasty both hot and cold! Bon appetit!

Simple and very tasty baked goods. I am delighted. I make different fillings, for example, with apples.

For a family tea party I prepared puff pastries with cottage cheese. Mmm...they turned out so delicious! While the dough was defrosting, I prepared the filling. I mashed the cottage cheese, added the yolk, vanilla sugar and instead of sugar I used powdered sugar. Mixed everything well. Rolled out the dough and cut it into squares. Place a tablespoon of filling in the middle of each square. I joined the edges to form envelopes. I brushed the puff pastries with whipped yolk and put them in the oven to bake at 200° for 30 minutes. Fragrant, tender and very tasty puff pastries with cottage cheese went perfectly with fragrant tea! Thanks to Yulia M. for the recipe!
