Pork with gooseberries

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare the ingredients. To prepare pork with gooseberries, baked in the oven, we will need: pork pulp (this can be tenderloin, goulash or neck), flour for breading, vegetable oil for frying, ground black pepper and salt.
STEP 2
Wash the pork, dry it and cut it into pieces or slices. I already have portioned pieces of the neck part). Trim off excess fat.
STEP 3
Salt and pepper the pork.
STEP 4
Roll each piece in flour.
STEP 5
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the pork over high heat for 4 minutes on each side. Cover the frying pan with a lid and remove from heat. This is to prevent the pork from drying out while the sauce is being prepared.
STEP 6
Sauce. To prepare gooseberry sauce we will need: gooseberries, cream (20% fat), water, sugar, ground black pepper and salt.
STEP 7
Wash the gooseberries, sort them, remove the stems and dry them.
STEP 8
Place the berries in a saucepan.
STEP 9
Add sugar, pour in water. Stirring, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes.
STEP 10
Pour in the cream. Simmer the sauce for another 3 minutes. At the end, season the sauce with pepper and salt.
STEP 11
Place pork in a baking dish. Pour over berry-cream sauce. You can leave a little sauce for serving the finished dish.
STEP 12
Bake pork with gooseberries in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 30 minutes.
STEP 13
You can serve pork with gooseberry and cream sauce with boiled rice, mashed potatoes, pasta. Bon appetit!
