  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pork carbonate in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Rinse the pork belly under running water and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the carbonate into portions, across the grain, 1.5-2 cm thick. Beat the meat a little with a kitchen hammer. To prevent the meat from tearing at the edges when beating, cover it with cling film.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Sprinkle each piece with salt and ground pepper. Rub salt and pepper into the meat on both sides.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

To prepare, take a completely metal frying pan so that you can put it in the oven. Heat the frying pan until hot and pour in some vegetable oil. Place the meat in a frying pan and fry it over high heat on both sides until golden brown. There is no need to fry the meat until done. Simply fry the outside so that all the juices are sealed inside the piece. This will take 3-4 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Melt the butter separately. Peel a few cloves of garlic and pass through a press directly into the bowl with the melted butter. Add salt and thyme.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Drizzle the fried meat directly in the pan with oil, spices and garlic.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

You can place more cloves of garlic on top of the meat. Place the frying pan with meat in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 15-20 minutes. Be guided by your oven.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

After baking, the meat will shrink slightly in size and brown. Remove the pan from the oven, transfer the meat to a plate and serve. Bon appetit!

Today I cooked pork according to the pork carbonate recipe in a frying pan. Once I cut the ham into steaks and put it in the freezer. When frying or baking, the meat quickly became soft, so I decided to use it for cooking according to this recipe. I pounded the steaks on both sides, salted them, seasoned them with black and red pepper and put them in a frying pan. Having fried them until golden brown, I moved them to a baking sheet, which I had previously covered with foil (I used a baking sheet, since I don’t have a frying pan that could be placed in the oven). I didn’t grease the foil with oil, I poured the juice released during frying onto it. I replaced the dry aromatic herbs with fresh dill, parsley and green onions; it took very little of them. Placed herbs and a chopped clove of garlic on the meat. Added melted butter on top. The aroma when baking was amazing. The garlic “sounded” wonderful and added a delicious note to the meat. Next time I'll put more of it and add dried herbs. The meat turned out very tasty! Thank you very much!

Golden on the outside and soft on the inside - the best chops turned out, tender, juicy and flavorful. It doesn’t take much time or effort to prepare. I served it with sweet and sour sauce for meat. Great combination of perfectly cooked meat and sauce and sweet garlic butter!

I always avoided carbonade when I wanted to cook chops. My husband bought it and asked for “something for dinner” with carbonade. There was nowhere to go. This recipe just saved me🙏🏻. I've never had such delicious chops before. Fragrant and tender, slightly fried on the outside and juicy pieces on the inside😋😋. My son is delighted! And the preparation is elementary. Thank you🙏🏻🥰
