STEP 1

How to bake pork belly roll in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for this. Choose a brisket that has an even layer of both meat and lard. The presence of lard gives the finished roll juiciness. You can carefully cut off the skin or cook the roll with it. There is no fundamental difference here.
STEP 2

If the piece of brisket is thick, then cut it along the entire piece without cutting all the way through and open it like a book.
STEP 3

Season the brisket generously with salt and ground pepper. You can take any spices to your taste.
STEP 4

Peel the garlic and spread it over the entire surface of the brisket. I have very large garlic cloves, so I cut each one into 2-3 pieces.
STEP 5

Roll the brisket into a tight roll and wrap tightly with cotton thread.
STEP 6

Sprinkle the outside of the roll generously with ground paprika and rub it in a little with your hands.
STEP 7

Then wrap the roll in 2-3 layers of foil so that the juice cannot leak out during baking. For baking, take a metal form. Place the roll in it and place in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees for 1.5 hours. I do not recommend using a ceramic mold for this recipe. At high temperatures it may crack.
STEP 8

After the specified time, remove the roll from the oven and open the foil. Cool and then place the roll in the refrigerator to set. Once refrigerated, it will be very easy to cut into slices.
STEP 9

Cut the threads from the frozen roll and cut it into round pieces. Place the slices on a plate and serve. Bon appetit!
