STEP 1
How to make plum puree for the winter from fresh plums? First, prepare the ingredients according to the list. Plums should be ripe and fleshy. It is better to remove wormy fruits, the same applies to fruits with other signs of spoilage. It is better to choose high-quality, aromatic cocoa. Cheap imitations will ruin the taste instead of enriching it.
STEP 2
Wash the plums under running water. Then remove the seeds from them by cutting each one in half or in another way.
STEP 3
Place the prepared berries in a saucepan with a thick bottom. Pour sugar into them and add lemon juice. Cook the plums over low heat for three hours, stirring occasionally.
STEP 4
During three hours of cooking, the plum mass will boil down greatly.
STEP 5
Add cocoa powder and stir. Keep the future puree on the fire for another 2-3 minutes, then remove the pan from the stove.
STEP 6
Punch the resulting mixture using an immersion blender. The plum puree is ready.
STEP 7
Place the puree into clean, dry jars and seal tightly. You can store such preparations in a city apartment in a dark place, out of direct sunlight. Enjoy tasting!
