Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to knead pizza dough with dry yeast? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Heat the water to about 40 degrees. It should be warm, but not scalding. In too hot water the yeast will die, but in cold water it will not activate.
STEP 2
Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Leave the yeast mixture for 10-15 minutes for the yeast to swell. A small foam should appear on the surface. If this does not happen, then the yeast will have to be replaced. Dry yeast can be added directly to the flour and knead the dough. But I still dissolve them in water. In my opinion, this way the process of raising the dough is faster and the dough is more fluffy.
STEP 3
Sift flour and salt into a bowl. This is necessary so that the flour is saturated with oxygen, and the finished dough turns out airier and more tender.
STEP 4
Make a funnel in the flour and pour olive oil into it.
STEP 5
Then pour in the yeast mixture and start kneading the dough, first with a spoon, then with your hands.
STEP 6
Knead a homogeneous, soft, elastic dough. If necessary, lightly dust the surface with flour while kneading the dough. Cover the dough with a towel and leave to rise for 25-30 minutes.
STEP 7
During this time, the dough will approximately double in volume. Quick pizza dough with dry yeast is ready. You can begin to form the foundation. From the resulting volume of dough I got a pizza with a diameter of 25 cm. Happy baking!
