  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pies like fluff with kefir? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can add any filling to them according to your taste and desire. How to make yeast dough with kefir for pies using a straight method? Heat kefir to 30-35 degrees. This can be done in a microwave oven or in a water bath. It’s easy to determine the temperature with your finger; if you don’t have a thermometer, your finger should be comfortable and pleasantly warm.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour warm kefir and vegetable oil into a bowl. Add sugar and salt to them, stir until the dry ingredients are completely dissolved.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Sift the flour, it is better to do this twice, so that it becomes more airy and saturated with oxygen, then the pies will turn out softer and tastier. Add dry yeast to the flour, mix. Pour the dry ingredients (a mixture of flour and yeast) into the bowl with the liquid mixture. Knead the dough with a spoon, forming it into a ball. Then place it on a table sprinkled with flour and continue kneading with your hands for about 10 minutes. You may need a little less or more flour.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Yeast dough loves your hands, so you need to spend more time on this step. Then put the dough back into the bowl, cover the top with a towel and leave for 40-60 minutes in a warm place.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

How to make filling for kefir pies with yeast? Any filling can be prepared. Delicious pies are made with green onions and eggs, with poached cabbage; a sweet filling is also good. I made the filling from cabbage. Wash the white cabbage in water, remove the top leaves, and chop. Peel the onion and chop finely.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour oil into a frying pan, heat it on the stove, add onion, lightly fry and add cabbage. Pour some water into the pan and simmer the cabbage over medium heat for about 25 minutes. Add salt, sugar (to balance the taste), ground black pepper to taste. Stir. Turn off the heat. Let the cabbage filling cool slightly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

When the dough has risen, punch it down. Place the dough on the work surface, divide it into equal pieces, the size of which depends on the desired size of the finished pies, but the pies turn out more beautiful, if not very large.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Roll each piece into a flat cake no more than 0.5 centimeters thick. Place some filling in the middle. Pinch the edges.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the pies on a greased baking sheet; if desired, you can cover it with baking paper and grease it with oil as well. Let the pies rise a little in a warm place. Brush the top of the pies with beaten chicken egg using a silicone brush. Place the baking sheet with the pies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes, until golden brown. Time and temperature are approximate, be guided by the features of your oven.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Remove the finished soft and fluffy kefir pies from the oven and let them cool. Serve pies like fluff on kefir in the oven with tea or milk. Bon appetit!

I liked the recipe for pies like fluff with kefir. Firstly, they are baked in the oven, which means they are prepared without the use of oil. Secondly, their favorite filling is cabbage). The dough is kneaded quickly, there is no need to put a dough. I had 1% kefir, it was liquid and it took a little more flour. If kefir is thick, then the amount of flour may be different. I definitely sift the flour. I divided the dough in half and put it in plastic bags, it’s more convenient for me. In addition, while I am forming pies from one part of the dough, the other does not dry out. In addition to cabbage and onions, I added carrots to the filling for brightness and juiciness. I made the pies triangular to make them different from the other filling. I left a hole in the middle for beauty. The pies came out soft and very tasty! Both adults and children loved them!

Why add half a glass of vegetable oil to the dough? It adds NOTHING to the TASTE! Excellent recipe for 130 kilocalories, you inflated it to 235! And then extra pounds on the sides, shortness of breath and “Hello, friend, Diabetes!”
