STEP 1
How to make pasta with cottage cheese? Prepare your food. Pasta can be used in any shape, as long as it is made from durum flour. Such pasta does not get soggy when cooked and is much healthier. Take cottage cheese of any fat content, fresh and natural, without milk fat substitutes. The same applies to butter; choose high-quality butter that complies with GOST.
STEP 2
Pour cold, clean water into a suitable sized saucepan. Even if you are just boiling pasta in it, use filtered or bottled water, because the taste of the dish will depend on its taste. Tap water may have an unpleasant taste. Add salt to the water.
STEP 3
Bring the water to a boil over high heat and add the pasta. Be sure to stir them with a spoon, otherwise the pasta may stick to the bottom. Bring the water to a boil again and reduce the heat.
STEP 4
Cook pasta according to package instructions until done. I like it when the pasta is not overcooked, but slightly firm (to the point of al dente). Remember to stir them occasionally, there is still a risk of sticking.
STEP 5
Place the finished pasta in a colander and let the water drain. Then return the pasta to the pan.
STEP 6
Add butter to hot pasta and stir well.
STEP 7
Next, add cottage cheese to the pasta.
STEP 8
Mix everything thoroughly, breaking up large lumps. The dish is ready, serve it immediately to the table, as the pasta cools quickly, and it is good when served hot. Bon appetit!
