  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make orange jelly dessert from oranges? Prepare the indicated products. If the oranges are large, then use 3 pieces. If small, then more. Be sure to pay attention to the expiration date of gelatin, as an expired product may fail.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Roll each orange with pressure on the table to release the juice inside, then cut in half over a container. Squeeze juice from citrus halves using a special press. To save time, you can use purchased orange juice, but this will make your dessert less healthy and flavorful.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour granulated sugar into a saucepan or saucepan. It can be replaced with honey, but honey is added to orange juice cooled to 30 C; such a sweet product cannot be heated.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour orange juice into a saucepan and place on the stove, turning on medium heat. Bring to a boil, but do not boil, so as not to destroy vitamin C. It is necessary to warm the juice so that the gelatin can dissolve in it.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add gelatin and mix. Leave for 5 minutes to swell and mix thoroughly again. It is best to do this with a whisk or mixer at minimum speed.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour warm orange juice with gelatin dissolved in it into containers: glasses, cups, bowls, bowls, etc. When planning to decorate the jelly, leave some space on top for the cream. Place the containers in the refrigerator and leave for about 2-3 hours until completely frozen.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Remove the finished jelly after the specified time - it hardens firmly, you can even turn the container upside down. If you added a smaller amount of gelatin, then such manipulations with the container are not necessary - the jelly may fall out.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Decorate the bright and aromatic dessert with whipped cream from a can, cream, mint or strawberry leaves, add orange slices and serve.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Don't forget about a cup of aromatic hot coffee or tea. You can store orange jelly for 3 days in the cold.

I saw this bright orange jelly and immediately wanted to make it. Typically, jelly is made from a decoction of berries or fruits; the recipe uses freshly squeezed orange juice. I also know this method of extracting juice) If you roll an orange on the table, you will get more juice. I extracted the juice using a manual juicer. According to the recipe, gelatin is added to hot juice. I would like to note that this can only be done with instant gelatin. The usual one will just clump into a lump, I already have experience) I just had the right one, it dissolves well in hot liquid and has no foreign taste. I ended up with three half-full glasses. Instead of whipped cream, I used marshmallows and garnished with orange slices. My jelly also passed the inverted glass test) Which means that it is stable and has a dense structure. I like this orange dessert. Plus everything is delicious and healthy!

Well, I didn’t make exactly the same dessert as in the recipe. I have it in three layers. I just took several different recipes and combined them into one. The top layer here is just orange. Why I decided to add a photo report here, because it was the orange layer that I liked the most! It is the most fragrant and bright. It is especially tasty to eat it with creamy ice cream. Thank you for the recipe, I have it in my recipe saver, I plan to prepare this jelly for New Year’s Eve. I'll serve it with ice cream!
