  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry an omelette with chicken and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Chicken meat must be boiled in salted water in advance. Olive oil can be replaced with regular sunflower oil. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. This time I used Parmesan, but you can use any hard cheese.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onion. and cut into thin quarter rings. To prevent the onion from stinging your eyes when slicing, rinse it and the knife with cold water.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right oil, in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Fry the onion over high heat until soft and golden for 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn the onion; reduce heat if necessary.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Meanwhile, mix the eggs with milk, add salt to taste and beat a little. You need to beat just a little bit, so that all the components are mixed, but the egg retains its structure

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add pieces of boiled chicken to the fried onions and fry everything together for literally 1 minute.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Sprinkle some of the pepper mixture or your favorite chicken spices over the contents of the pan. You can also add regular ground black pepper.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour the egg mixture over the chicken and onions and reduce heat to medium.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

When the egg is set around the edges, push it towards the center with a spatula and let the liquid part that has not yet fried drip onto the hot frying pan. Thanks to this, the omelet will fry evenly and not burn.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Fry the omelette over low heat until done. This usually takes on average about 5 minutes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Sprinkle the grated cheese into the center of the omelette.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Fold the omelette in half.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Carefully transfer the omelette to a plate by tilting the pan. The omelette should slide off easily. Bon appetit!

I made an omelette with chicken and cheese in a frying pan using two large eggs. I took the chicken not boiled, but baked; I only had one drumstick left. I didn’t take a large onion, I decided that a small one would be enough for me). The ratio of eggs and milk suited me, the omelette became tender, but did not tear or break. Seasoned it with freshly ground aromatic pepper. The omelette was fried over low heat with a lid on. To serve, I grated cheese not only on the inside, but also on the outside of the omelette. I also sprinkled it with chopped green onions, which added a pleasant spice to this tasty and satisfying dish. By the way, fried onions add some sweetness to the omelette. I think next time I’ll add mushrooms to the chicken, it will be delicious too).

nasstin, what a delicious omelette - with chicken! Tasty and fast! It turns out to be very easy to fry it all by simply moving it away with a spatula and pouring it into a hot frying pan - I usually turned it over or completely mixed everything. Thanks for the recipe!

Thank you for the interesting recipe! I wouldn’t have thought of making a chicken omelette myself, even though it seems simple. Somehow, more and more vegetable fillings and cheese, all sorts of sausages come to mind when you talk about an omelet. But it still seemed to me that it would be a little boring with just chicken) so I also added bell pepper for taste) And I really liked it!
