Salad with herring is very unusual and tasty, good for the holiday table! In Norwegian cuisine, a very small section is devoted to salads, since mostly Norwegians prefer to eat fish prepared in a variety of ways and, less often, meat. But there are culinary recipes for salads, although in smaller quantities than all other types of dishes, but also mostly made from fish. Last weekend, as usual, I prepared food for the coming week. I wanted to create some kind of fish salad, but at the same time unusual, new. After wandering around the Internet a little, I found a culinary recipe that suited me, it turned out to be a Norwegian salad with apples and cheese. So, how is Norwegian salad prepared?!

And you know, this is an interesting salad, with apples, it turns out they even eat herring... Spicy, I love those. It takes no more than half an hour to prepare - considering the fuss with cutting the herring, especially if it is whole. I took fillet. My only remark is that the salad tastes MUCH better immediately after cooking, while the croutons are still crunchy. After standing for half an hour waiting for guests, he, of course, softened. I think in such a situation it can be sprinkled with croutons just before serving. But in general - the guests rated it 5!
