STEP 1

How to make baby corn on the cob in the microwave? Prepare your food. It is better to collect it in August; at a later time it will already be overripe, with hard and tough grains. If you buy corn at the market, choose bright green cobs with tightly fitting leaves and a tassel at the end. The grains should be bright yellow. It is better to use corn that is milky ripe; it is more tender, sweet and juicy.
STEP 2

Remove the top leaves from the cobs and tear off the hairs hanging outward - the tassel. Leave the leaves that cover the grains themselves. When cooking corn, they will prevent the juice from evaporating from the kernels, leaving them sweet, juicy and soft.
STEP 3

Place the corn cobs in a simple transparent bag and tie the end or secure it with a clip. Using a knife, make several small holes on top to allow steam to escape during cooking. Place the bag of corn in the microwave. Set the highest power, time - 2 minutes. If the corn is mature, you need to cook it longer. You can do this with a break, a couple of times for two minutes. There is also no need to overcook the corn, otherwise it will not be tasty.
STEP 4

Determine readiness with a sharp knife - it should pierce the cob freely. Carefully remove the corn from the bag. Be careful, she is very hot!!! Let it cool a little, but not for long, it needs to be served hot. Remove the top leaves and fibers. Place the cobs on a plate.
STEP 5

Sprinkle the corn with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Place small pieces of butter on top. Serve the corn. Bon appetit!
