STEP 1

How to make merchant-style pork with mushrooms in the oven? Very simple! To begin, prepare the ingredients according to the list. In addition to these spices, you can add your own to taste, for example, dry garlic, paprika, curry, etc. In addition to pork, you can take beef, chicken or turkey. But keep in mind that the time and calories will vary.
STEP 2

Wash the pork and dry thoroughly. If you have a whole piece of meat, you can cut it into portioned slices about 1 cm thick. I had already chopped carbonade. You can also use pork neck or other parts of the pulp.
STEP 3

Beat the pork with a hammer on both sides. Sprinkle the meat with spices.
STEP 4

Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
STEP 5

Wash the champignons and cut into slices. Buy fresh champignons of medium size, snow-white color without spots, damage, or the smell of rot. They should not feel slippery to the touch. Thoroughly rinse the mushrooms from soil under running warm or cold water. Cut out damaged areas, if any.
STEP 6

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Any cheese is suitable, the main thing is that the cheese is tasty, without dyes or milk fat substitutes. I have regular Russian cheese, you can replace it with mozzarella, suluguni or other cheese that melts well. STEP 7

Place pork chops in a greased baking dish. Place tomato slices on top and lightly salt.
STEP 8

Place mushrooms on top of tomatoes. Pour over a thin layer of mayonnaise.
STEP 9

Sprinkle grated cheese on top and pour mayonnaise again. Bake the merchant-style pork in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 20-30 minutes or longer until golden brown.
