  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to pickle tomatoes with garlic for the winter? Prepare the necessary products. Choose medium-sized tomatoes for preparations, without spoiled or soft spots. Wash the vegetables well, then remove the stems by cutting them out with a sharp knife. Place one clove of peeled garlic into each resulting hole. Read about sterilization of jars and the intricacies of preparations in separate articles at the end of this recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place a bay leaf, five black peppercorns, four cloves and the required amount of tomatoes and garlic on the bottom of a sterilized 2-liter jar. Read about how to properly sterilize jars and many other preservation tips at the end of the recipe.

  3. STEP 3

Cover the jar of tomatoes with a sterile lid and set it aside for seven to ten minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Drain the water from the jar into the pan after a while; it will be convenient to do this through a special lid with holes. Carefully! The jars are very hot, don't get burned!!! Place the pan with the drained water on the stove and bring the water to a boil over high heat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour coarse salt into the jar with tomatoes for pickling.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Next, pour sugar into the jar of tomatoes.

I made pickled tomatoes with garlic for the winter. I was once treated to a similar preparation, I really liked it, I came across this recipe on the website - I decided to make it too. My tomatoes are small, but my garlic is large, so I had to cut the garlic cloves into sharp slices and “stuff” the tomatoes with them. Otherwise I did everything according to the recipe. In winter there will be sweet, spicy tomatoes on the table! Thanks to the author for the recipe!
