Pamper your family with this fragrant, airy pastry! After visiting another country in the world, upon arrival I try to prepare a couple of dishes from the dishes I loved during the trip. In the summer I was able to visit the Czech Republic, where I was amazed by the delicious and quite simple food with the appetizing name Makovnichki. It is this culinary recipe of Czech cuisine that I will share with you now. Baking lovers will enjoy the fragrant poppy seeds.

I really liked the makovnichki, delicious filling and delicious dough! I made 2 cuts so that the filling was visible, but during the baking process the dough rose and the cuts closed. So when you make the cuts, fold them back if you want the filling to be visible. I decided to add raisins to the poppy seed filling to make it more interesting. Although it’s just a poppy seed filling with cinnamon and aromatic vanilla - delicious. The smell alone increases your appetite!

Valeria, Vera, oh, what delicious buns you made with poppy seeds! I really like the poppy seed filling, it’s just a pity that it has become so expensive on the market! Thanks for the recipe!
