Luntik cake without eggs
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Knead marzipan with powdered sugar until required elasticity.
STEP 2
Devide into two parts. These will be leaves and berries for decoration.
STEP 3
Mix one part with red dye and knead until the color is even.
STEP 4
The second one with green dye and knead it the same way. Add dye drop by drop. If the color suddenly turns out brighter than necessary, add powder to the marzipan.
STEP 5
Make berries from red marzipan. Using a stick, apply a pattern in the shape of strawberry seeds.
STEP 6
Roll out a piece of green marzipan into a flat cake.
STEP 7
Use special cutting molds to make petals and leaves.
STEP 8
Stick the petals to the berries and set everything aside. If you don’t have special forms for cutting, you can do all this with a knife and apply the pattern on the leaves with a stick.
STEP 9
Place the sponge cakes on top of each other, generously spreading buttercream between them.
STEP 10
Spread the custard on top and smooth out the cream using a damp spatula. At the same time, warm cream evens out better than cooled cream.
STEP 11
First you need to prepare a cut out picture of Luntik.
STEP 12
Place the picture on the cake and use a toothpick to trace the outline, marking the details of the picture as much as possible.
STEP 13
Use melted chocolate to draw a picture along the outline.
STEP 14
Prepare a light pink cream and apply it in those places where it is necessary.
STEP 15
Now apply dark pink cream in the right places. Keep a color image of Luntik on hand to check where his color is.
STEP 16
Draw the nose and pupils.
STEP 17
Paint the mouth with red dye.
STEP 18
Using a star tip, apply a snake of green cream onto the side of the cake.
STEP 19
Using the “grass” nozzle, apply grass at the base of the cake with jerky movements using the same green cream.
STEP 20
Apply the cream to the outer row of grass on top of the cake in the same way.
STEP 21
And also apply the inner rows of grass on top of the cake.
STEP 22
Place the decorations from berries and leaves prepared in advance. Sprinkle the grass with colorful edible confetti and decorate with edible decorations like flowers and butterflies. Now the cake is ready to serve on the holiday table! Happy holiday and bon appetit!
