STEP 1
How to make linguine? Prepare your food. You can take chicken meat left over from lunch, or you can boil it specially. In this case, you will get chicken broth, which you will then add to the sauce, which will make it even tastier. I'll boil the fillet. Instead of Parmesan, any other high-quality hard cheese will do.
STEP 2
Boil the chicken fillet. How to cook chicken fillet? Pour clean water into a saucepan and place it over high heat. When the water boils, reduce the heat, add the fillet and salt. Cook it for 10 minutes over low heat, then turn off the heat and leave the fillet to cool in the broth - this will make it juicier. Pour out a glass of broth for the sauce.
STEP 3
Heat a mixture of butter and olive oil in a frying pan. Thinly slice the peeled onion. Place it in the pan. Sauté the onion over low heat until translucent, about 5 minutes.
STEP 4
Cut the chicken fillet into slices.
STEP 5
Add chicken fillet slices to the frying pan with the onions. Cook until heated through.
STEP 6
At the same time, cook the pasta. Add water to the remaining broth and cook the linguine in it according to the instructions on the package. When the linguine is cooked al dente (almost done), drain it in a colander. If you are making linguine with cooked chicken and don't have any leftover broth, pour out a glass of the pasta water.
STEP 7
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Chop clean and dried greens.
STEP 8
Add the herbs to the pan with the chicken and squeeze in the lemon juice.
STEP 9
Place the linguine in the pan with the chicken. Add most of the cheese, pour in the broth (or pasta water). Stir and simmer the pasta a little to combine all the flavors.
STEP 10
The linguine should be evenly coated with the resulting lemon cheese sauce.
STEP 11
Immediately divide the linguine into bowls and serve with the remaining Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Additionally, you can serve herbs and a slice of lemon. A great dish for lunch or dinner is ready! Bon appetit!
