STEP 1
How to make heh from meat in Korean? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. It is better to use pork tenderloin or sirloin so that the meat is softer and more tender. Wine vinegar can be replaced with another to taste. Wash the meat, dry with a paper towel, and trim off the fat and veins if necessary. Cut the meat into thin strips. Rinse the prepared meat again and dry with paper towels.
STEP 2
Place a frying pan on the fire and heat it without oil. Place the prepared meat on a preheated frying pan and completely evaporate the liquid from it. Then pour in a tablespoon of vegetable oil, add a little salt and fry the meat for 10 minutes until lightly browned, stirring constantly. STEP 3
Peel the carrots, rinse under running water and grate for Korean salads. If there is no such device, then you can cut the carrots with a knife into thin strips, this will not affect the taste.
STEP 4
Peel the onions and cut into half rings. Peel the garlic cloves and grate them on a fine grater or pass through a press.
STEP 5
Place the prepared carrots and onions in a deep bowl.
STEP 6
Add meat to the bowl with vegetables.
STEP 7
Pour in soy sauce, vegetable oil, wine vinegar, add chopped garlic, salt, black and red pepper.
STEP 8
Mix everything thoroughly and put the bowl in the refrigerator overnight to marinate. The dish is ready; before serving, you can sprinkle it with chopped fresh herbs or green onions. Serve it to the table as an independent dish, snack or addition to hot food. Bon appetit!
