Korean carrots with onions and soy sauce

STEP 1
This recipe will show you how to make Korean style carrots with seasoning at home. We take the products that we will need.
STEP 2
We clean the carrots and grate them on a special grater for Korean salads. If you don’t have one, you can simply cut the carrots into thin strips.
STEP 3
Add salt, mix everything well and leave to infuse and soak for a few minutes, also during this time the carrots will release juice. Then add finely chopped garlic, ground red pepper and sugar (you can also add ground coriander to taste if desired).
STEP 4
Peel the onion and saute over medium heat in a frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil while stirring. It should turn a rich golden color, then we throw it away, leaving only the oil in which it was fried.
STEP 5
Pour this oil over our carrot chips, add vinegar and mix it all thoroughly. If desired (optional), you can add soy sauce and stir. We can say that the dish is ready, all that remains is to cool it. Place it in the refrigerator overnight, and in the morning you can enjoy the unique taste.
