Korean carrots for the lazy housewife
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
The necessary ingredients are Korean dressing for carrots, onions, garlic, vegetable oil and already chopped carrots. Unfortunately, I haven’t purchased a special grater for Korean carrots yet, so I grated them using a regular one.
STEP 2
Chop the onion, preferably as finely as possible. Personally, I don’t like it when there are large pieces of onion in such dishes; it doesn’t look very aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion.
STEP 3
Send to fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
STEP 4
While our onions are sautéing, squeeze the garlic into the carrots using a garlic press. Although there is garlic in the Korean dressing, I like carrots to be spicier, so it’s better to determine the amount of garlic according to your taste: if you want spicier garlic, more garlic, less spicy garlic. You can do without it for the first time to determine how you like it best.
STEP 5
Add the prepared onion to the carrots along with the oil in which it was fried. Now thoroughly and carefully knead the bag of dressing so that the dressing becomes more homogeneous. We open it and pour everything without a trace into our dish. All that remains is to mix it all well, I do it with my hands.
STEP 6
The description of the dressing states that carrots can be consumed within an hour after cooking, but I like it to steep and acquire a juicy taste and aroma, so I cover the dish with film and put it in the refrigerator overnight.
STEP 7
In the morning we take out the yummy and enjoy, I love these carrots even without the main dish. Bon appetit!
