Juicy hare in the oven
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake a juicy hare in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. To prepare hare meat, first soak it for 12 hours, or better yet overnight, in water with vinegar (2 tablespoons of vinegar per 1 liter of water). This will remove the specific smell of game.
STEP 2

STEP 3
Rub the meat with salt.
STEP 4
Rub the hare with ground black pepper and add a bay leaf to the meat. You can use any dried herbs you like at this point.
STEP 5
Cover the dish with meat with foil and place in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 1 hour. The exact time depends on your oven. You can check readiness with a knife by piercing the meat with it: if light juice flows from the cut, then the meat is ready, if the juice is pink or red, then continue baking.
STEP 6
Pour the juice over the finished meat.
STEP 7
Peel the garlic and grate it, finely chop it with a knife or pass it through a press. Lubricate the meat with chopped garlic. Wash the dill, dry and finely chop.
STEP 8
Sprinkle the meat with finely chopped dill. The dish is ready, you can serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
