    Finely chop the peeled onion, washed mushrooms and bacon. I use raw smoked bacon. It is very fragrant. If desired, you don't have to add it. Pour some vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the chopped onion for a minute. Then add the mushrooms and bacon to the pan. Stir and fry everything together for 4-5 minutes. You can add a little salt if you wish, but keep in mind that bacon is salty.

    Cool the finished mushroom filling a little and add grated hard cheese to it.

    Grease a baking tray with a small amount of vegetable oil. Evenly distribute the prepared filling onto the slices of bread and place on a baking sheet. I love mushrooms very much, so I couldn’t miss the recipe for sandwiches with champignons. True, I was somewhat confused by the fact that the filling in such sandwiches can spread, and I made my own adjustments to the preparation process. First, I passed the garlic through a press and rubbed it on slices of fresh loaf. Then I fried these slices on both sides in vegetable oil in a frying pan. I made this design - I cut out the middle of one piece of loaf with a knife, leaving only a crust about 5-7 mm thick, and placed this crust on the second slice. I placed the mushroom filling into the resulting cavity, lightly sprinkled with dill, and covered with thin slices of cheese on top. I baked it in the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese was golden brown (I think you can also use the microwave). The result is hot sandwiches with mushroom filling that doesn’t spread anywhere! Delicious!
