STEP 1
How to make a horloger with horseradish and garlic for the winter? First of all, prepare all the components. You can use any variety of tomatoes for the sauce. The amount of hot capsicum can be slightly increased or decreased to taste, or completely excluded from the recipe.
STEP 2
Wash the horseradish root from any remaining soil and peel it using a sharp thin knife. Peel the garlic. Wash tomatoes, hot peppers, horseradish root and garlic in clean water. Cut large tomatoes in half and remove the stem attachment points.
STEP 3
Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize using a method convenient for you. This can be done in the microwave, oven or water bath. I find it convenient to sterilize in the oven. Also sterilize the lids in the oven, or boil them in water (depending on what kind of lids you use).
STEP 4
Next you need to grind all the components. You can do this in two ways: using a meat grinder or a blender. This time I used a blender. Place the tomatoes in a blender bowl and cut the large halves into two more pieces for convenience.
STEP 5
Cut the horseradish root into small pieces and add to the tomatoes.
STEP 6
Next comes the turn of the garlic; cut the large cloves into two or four parts, and leave the small ones whole. Add the cloves to the tomatoes and horseradish.
STEP 7
Cut the hot pepper pods in half, remove the seeds (partially), stem and core. Cut the pepper into small pieces and place in a blender.
STEP 8
Whisk everything until smooth. Add salt and sugar to the tomato mixture.
STEP 9
Stir everything and let stand for about 15 minutes, during which time the salt and sugar crystals should completely dissolve. Stir the gorloder again.
STEP 10
Pour the sauce into cooled jars, roll up the lids and store in the refrigerator.
