Hoppy apples in wine for dessert
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
We take these apples and wine. Georgian is ideal, although a little expensive.
STEP 2
Wash the apples, cut them in half, saving the stem if there is one. Carefully clean out the middle.
STEP 3
We combine them, giving the shape of a whole apple. Place them in a deep saucepan or saucepan.
STEP 4
Add sugar and spices.
STEP 5
Pour wine over apples.
STEP 6
Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes, pouring wine from time to time.
STEP 7
Carefully transfer the apples into a glass salad bowl, in which we will serve and fill with marinade. If the cinnamon you come across is very fragrant, take it out. Cover with a lid and put it in the refrigerator, in the farthest corner!
STEP 8
We forget about the apples for a few days, maybe even a week. And then we surprise all the guests! This is such beauty!
STEP 9
Tasty, aromatic, intoxicating! By the way, the remaining marinade can be used to make mulled wine. Or you can eat it with apples. Happy cooking!
