  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake homemade yeast sugar buns? First, prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough. Heat the milk slightly in a saucepan on the stove or in the microwave. It should be warm, but not scalding. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave. If you don’t have dry yeast, you can replace it with 40 grams of regular live yeast.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the flour through a sieve. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished buns will be more magnificent and tender. Mix dry yeast with flour. If you are using live yeast, then it must be dissolved in warm milk, adding a teaspoon of sugar, and left for 10-15 minutes until a foamy cap forms.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Beat the eggs a little with sugar. This can be done with a whisk or mixer at low speed.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add the cooled melted butter and mix everything again.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour warm milk into the egg-butter mixture and stir.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add the flour and yeast little by little and begin kneading the dough.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

You may need a little more flour than the specified amount. It took me about 660 grams. The dough turns out tender, soft, elastic, slightly sticking to your hands. Place the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with cling film or a towel and leave in a warm place for about an hour.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

After an hour, the dough will increase 1.5-2 times.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Prepare the ingredients for the filling. There are only two of them - butter and sugar. You may need a little more sugar. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees in advance.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Divide the dough into several pieces of 70-80 grams. I got 13 pieces.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Take one piece of dough and roll it out thinly into a circle with a rolling pin, first sprinkling a little flour on your work surface. Brush the rolled out dough with melted butter using a silicone brush.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Sprinkle the greased dough thickly with sugar. For one future bun you need about 1 tablespoon of sugar.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Roll the dough into a log. Fold the resulting roll in half with the seam facing inward and connect the edges.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Holding the roll by the edges, make a small cut along it and turn the roll with the sugar filling out, forming a heart.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Form the remaining buns in the same way and place them on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Brush the buns with the remaining melted butter or a little beaten egg and place them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. The exact time depends on the power of your oven.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

    Bon appetit!

The buns turned out wonderful! Soft, airy, sweet. To prepare them, I took premium flour, dry yeast, salt and sugar. I took the milk, eggs and butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that they warmed up to room temperature. Melt the butter in a water bath. I kneaded the dough until it became elastic, homogeneous and stopped sticking to my hands. I added butter at the very end, this makes the dough sticky and large-porous, I read about it recently and decided to try it. The dough became smooth, shiny, and pleasant to the touch. After 1.5 hours, I began to cut it up and form buns. The dough rolled out well and held its shape. It was easy to work with him. I baked the buns for 20 minutes at a temperature of 220°. In general, I bake often; my family really loves fresh baked goods, which are quickly eaten. This happened with homemade yeast sugar buns. We ate them in a jiffy. Thank you very much for the recipe!
