  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make sherbet strawberry ice cream from yogurt at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take natural yogurt, I used homemade yogurt, after straining off the excess whey. Use the amount of sugar to your taste; depending on the sweetness of the strawberries, you may need more or less sugar. You can add vanilla sugar for flavor if you wish, but this is not necessary.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the strawberries, peel and cut into arbitrary pieces.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the chopped strawberries in the pan, add sugar and add 2 tablespoons of clean filtered water. Place the pan over medium heat and cook the strawberries and sugar for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The mixture should thicken slightly.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grind the resulting mixture through a sieve and let cool to room temperature. If you like ice cream with pieces of berries, then you don’t have to grind the strawberry mixture, but leave it as is, but I still grind it, because I don’t like seeds in ice cream.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add yogurt and mix everything thoroughly. Place the mixture in a freezer container and place in the freezer.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

For the first 2 hours, every 20-30 minutes, the ice cream must be taken out of the freezer and actively stirred. After 2 hours, leave the ice cream until it hardens completely. The exact time depends on the operation of your freezer.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the finished homemade sorbet ice cream in bowls and serve. Bon appetit!

Irisha, I couldn’t beat the Strawberry Clouds to soft peaks, so I don’t know if the mass will harden.

Shurochka, I’m very glad to see you, I think the others are too!!! Where are you now? I, too, have already vacationed on the coast with my family. Even though you’re not on the site, I immediately wonder where Shurochka went. Don’t you know where our Anahit is??? She hasn't been on the site for a long time.
