STEP 1
How to make homemade chocolate pudding? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take fresh milk, medium fat content.
STEP 2
Pour milk into a small ladle and heat it to about 40 degrees. The milk should not be scalding hot or cold. If you have a kitchen thermometer, use it.
STEP 3
In a separate container, combine and stir cocoa powder, granulated sugar, fine salt (to balance flavor) and cornstarch. If these products are added separately without mixing them together, there is a risk that cocoa and starch will “seize” in lumps and it will be very difficult to mix them in the future. Therefore, let’s protect ourselves and mix these ingredients.
STEP 4
Remove the milk from the heat, add the starch-sugar mixture with cocoa powder, stir and return the ladle to the heat.
STEP 5
Heat the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly; it will begin to thicken noticeably. Boil the pudding for one minute and remove from heat.
STEP 6
Pour hot homemade chocolate pudding with milk into small portion molds and cool.
STEP 7
You can serve ready-made cocoa pudding at home either warm or chilled. Bon appetit!
