Homemade bread with dried fruits and hazelnuts

Your body will thank you for such healthy and delicious bread! For a long time I dreamed of making a similar bread and, armed with a book by Richard Bertinet, I finally prepared it. The bread turns out very aromatic and tasty. True, this kind of bread is not for everyone, or rather, if you want to eat it, for example, with borscht, then this combination is not for everyone) but it is really very tasty, I ate it with everything, but my husband only with tea :) try it, I hope you do too I'll like it!

And mixed serum with water (you can only use water)

    STEP 6

Mix the dough. It turns out quite sticky, but try not to add more flour or add just a little

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Now our dough needs to be kneaded, knead for about 10 minutes, the dough should be very tender

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

While we are kneading the dough, pour boiling water over the dried fruits, let them steam a little, and after the dough has been kneaded, add chopped dried apricots and nuts with raisins, mix them into the dough

Place the finished dough on a floured table, knead it and divide it into 2 equal parts.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

We form a bar from each part and place it on a baking sheet for further proofing, leaving them to rest for 30 minutes

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

If desired, make cuts on the finished bars and bake in an oven preheated to 220 C for 15 minutes with steam (to do this, place a deep baking sheet with boiling water on the bottom of the oven), after 15 minutes, pull out the baking sheet with water, reduce the temperature to 180 and bake for another 15-20 minutes. Be sure to let the finished bread cool completely and stand for 3 hours, then our bread will be very fragrant and ripen. Bon appetit!

The bars turned out very beautiful. I often buy “merchant” bread at Magnit - they contain nuts, dried apricots, and prunes. So I would definitely like yours. At home I’m having trouble baking bread, but maybe your recipe will work

Irisha, what a gorgeous bread you baked and teased me about making it. I’ll go right now and cook it, only I don’t have dried apricots, hazelnuts, but I have prunes and walnuts, pumpkin seeds and only the highest quality flour (because we don’t have anything else on sale) Let’s see what comes of it

Thanks for the kind words. I’m very glad that you liked the bread! Yulyok, try to bake, the bread is very easy to prepare, the most important thing is to knead the dough, here it turns out quite sticky, but when kneading you can lubricate your hands with vegetable oil, it will be more convenient, and it’s better not to add too much flour, so as not to clog the dough. Anahit, I really hope that everything will work out, I also practically don’t have whole grain flour on sale, I have to look all over the city, but I’ve already found several points where it is shown from time to time. And this is strange, because such flour is very healthy. And you can use any dried fruits, I just asked for everything I like

Irisha, it’s so good that you showed us these bars and wrote the recipe, I really welcome the combination of several types of flour, the bread turns out not only healthy, but also tasty, I often bought bread with dried fruits in the store, they also go well together with dried fruits in bread nuts (hazelnuts, so that when you cut the bread it is visible as round kernels, but pumpkin seeds also behave well in bread), prunes, dried apricots and raisins - the most common dried fruits that are used in bread baking, and with them the taste of the bread is so extraordinary , I want it again and again, oh what a recipe, just a find, I’m taking it to my place!

Thank you so much for the recipe!!!!! Everything worked out! The result is excellent! I took white flour, bran flour and rye flour, added dried apricots and prunes. The only thing in the recipe is not written about honey, I used it by eye, about a tablespoon, as in the photo. Everything is simple and accessible. Thank you!!!!!!!!
