Green cherry tomato salad

STEP 1

How to make a salad of green cherry tomatoes for the winter? Prepare all the products listed in the recipe.
STEP 2

Sort the tomatoes, remove the stems. Rinse the bell peppers and dry with napkins. Peel the garlic.
STEP 3

Cut the peppers in half and remove the core and seeds. Cut each half into slices or half rings, as you prefer. To make the finished appetizer look more vibrant and appetizing, use peppers of different colors if possible.
STEP 4

Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly in cold water. Larger tomatoes can be cut into two parts.
STEP 5

Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed saucepan. Fry the bell peppers. Cook until golden brown. Remove the cooked peppers from the pan with a slotted spoon.
STEP 6

Add cherry tomatoes to the same oil. Simmer over high heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
STEP 7

While the tomatoes are cooking, chop the garlic finely or put it through a press. Rinse the chili pepper. The amount of pepper and garlic can be slightly increased or decreased according to your taste.
STEP 8

Add fried bell peppers, garlic and chili to the tomatoes. Add salt and sugar. Stirring occasionally, cook everything together for about 5-7 minutes. At the end, pour in the vinegar, mix everything again and leave it on the stove for literally a minute.
STEP 9

Sterilize the jars in a way that is convenient and accessible to you. This can be done in the microwave, in a water bath or in the oven.
STEP 10

Place the salad in sterile jars. Close with sterile lids. Turn the top upside down and leave under a warm blanket at room temperature until completely cooled.
STEP 11

Place the workpiece in a cool place for long-term storage.
