Fruit mulled wine with red wine and cognac
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
First, let's prepare the fruit. Apples and oranges need to be washed well. Cut them into large slices.
STEP 2
I prefer to stick cloves into the orange slices.
STEP 3
Then you just need to add these spiced orange slices to the wine.
STEP 4
Now put cinnamon sticks, 2 anise stars in a saucepan, add allspice (3 peas or more).
STEP 5
Add 1 tsp to the rest of the spices. black peppercorns. The more pepper, the hotter the drink will be.
STEP 6
Add sugar, approximately 100-120 g. or to taste.
STEP 7
Pour the wine. To prepare mulled wine, I use dry red cabernet table wine.
STEP 8
Warm the wine over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
STEP 9
Add cognac to make the mulled wine taste much brighter.
STEP 10
Add raisins to hot wine with spices.
STEP 11
Then sweet and sour apples and ripe oranges. Some orange slices can be used to squeeze delicious sweet juice into wine.
STEP 12
Warm up the aromatic mulled wine for 10 minutes over low heat.
STEP 13
All that remains is to strain this aromatic drink.
STEP 14
The aromatic wine is ready!
STEP 15
Pour into glasses and enjoy.
STEP 16
Drink this yummy, gain strength and health! In moderation, it is a preventative against colds. It’s just better to drink it fresh and not boil it again.
