STEP 1
We take products according to the list. You can use butter or substitute margarine. My mother, who taught me how to make dough and told me how to fry pies with eggs and green onions in a frying pan, prefers margarine to butter. She claims that pies made from it turn out much tastier. You can try both options and compare!
STEP 2
So, let's prepare the yeast dough. To do this, take dry yeast and immediately mix it with flour. Then pour warm milk into the flour. You can use water, but with milk the pies will be a more filling meal. I also definitely recommend adding margarine (butter) to the dough. At the end, add the eggs, add a little salt, and add sugar. Knead the dough thoroughly. After that, put it in a warm place for one hour so that it rises.
STEP 3
During this time we will prepare the filling. Take eggs and boil them hard. Chop and mix with onion. You can use green onions, but we usually use regular onions. Fry it in vegetable oil and mix with egg.
STEP 4
The filling is ready.
STEP 5
We take the dough and immediately divide it into pieces, each of which will be a pie. Roll out the dough and put the prepared filling in the middle. Forming pies.
STEP 6
We don't have an oven, so my mother fries the pies in oil in a frying pan. So I advise you to fry each pie in a frying pan on both sides. They should turn golden.
STEP 7
Place all the onion pies on one dish and cover them with a napkin. Enjoy your meal!
