STEP 1

How to fry potatoes with a crust in a frying pan? Prepare your food.
STEP 2

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into cubes no more than 1 cm thick. Place the potatoes in a colander and pour boiling water over them. In this way you will remove excess starch, which prevents the potatoes from browning. Place the potatoes on a paper towel and pat dry. Transfer the potatoes to a bowl.
STEP 3

Coat it with flour by shaking the bowl or tossing the potatoes with your hands.
STEP 4

Make sure the flour is evenly distributed throughout the potatoes.
STEP 5

Heat vegetable oil and butter in a thick-bottomed Teflon frying pan. Butter will add a delicate flavor to the dish, but it will burn when heated. That’s why they add vegetable oil, the combustion temperature of which is higher than that of butter. Then the butter will not burn, and the dish will be fried and receive the desired creamy aroma.
STEP 6

Lay out the potatoes. Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
STEP 7

Salt, pepper and stir the potatoes. Continue to cook until the potatoes are golden brown and crusty, about 10 minutes more. Place the finished potatoes on a plate. Serve immediately while hot.
