Fried beef liver in cornmeal

STEP 1
Products for cooking.
STEP 2
Wash the liver, dry it, remove the film and cut into large pieces.
STEP 3
Prepare the marinade: in a bowl, beat the egg with salt, sugar, soda and garlic, passed through a press.
STEP 4
Pour the mixture over the liver pieces and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours, or you can leave overnight.
STEP 5
Fry the peeled and cut into half rings in a small amount of vegetable oil. Place on a plate.
STEP 6
Dip each marinated piece of liver in cornmeal and place in the preheated frying pan in which the onions were fried.
STEP 7
Add a little oil and fry on both sides until golden brown (3 minutes on each side).
STEP 8
When the liver is evenly browned, sprinkle it with fried onions, stir, cover and simmer for another 5 minutes. Check for readiness by cutting a piece. If there's no pink inside, you're done!
