French-style meat in a slow cooker with potatoes

It's fast, easy and delicious! For a hearty family dinner. This was my first time cooking French-style meat and potatoes in a slow cooker. I was very pleased. saves a lot of time. No different from meat baked in the oven. You can use any meat, of course make allowances for temperature and time.

How to bake meat in French with potatoes in a slow cooker? Let's take pork. I have a neck. It is softer and has layers. Let's beat her back a little. I immediately added salt, about 0.5 tsp.

We will also peel the potatoes and cut them into circles.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

I cut the meat into strips. This will make it more convenient to get portions.

Place the meat in the bottom of the multicooker cup.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Place onions on top.

    STEP 7

Place potatoes on top and lightly salt them.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

We cut the cherry tomatoes into 3 parts and place them on top. You can take 1 tomato and cut it into circles.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

We make a mesh of mayonnaise on top. You can make your own mayonnaise. Below the steps you will find a link to a catalog of homemade mayonnaise recipes.

    Grate the cheese.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

And sprinkle cheese on top. Place the cup in the multicooker and turn on the Baking mode for 1 hour. The cooking time and mode are indicated approximately; be guided by the operating characteristics of your equipment. Read more about this at the end of this recipe.

I advise everyone to cook French-style meat with potatoes in a slow cooker! Very tasty! And it's easy to cook. I laid all the ingredients in a multicooker in layers, selected the “baking” mode and left for one hour. However, I first boiled the potatoes, since they are a bit harsh and do not boil well. When finished, it came out very appetizing and soft. The meat has a crispy crust, the cheese is airy, tender, like a white cap. Very tasty! Thank you very much for the recipe!

Esenija, excellent meat with vegetables and cheese... I like neck meat, especially for kebabs - soft, juicy, but sometimes you come across too much fat, you have to choose well. Of course, you need fat, but in moderation. Thank you very much for the recipe!

It turned out incredibly tasty. But I forgot the mayonnaise, I just sprinkled it with cheese (it still turned out great) and I pre-marinated the meat for 3 hours (sprinkled with Adyghe salt, ground black pepper and dry mustard, sprinkled with 6% apple cider vinegar). I regret that I didn’t marinate it overnight. When I served it, I sprinkled it with my favorite cilantro. The dish turned out - heavenly pleasure! Thank you very much for the recipe.

I haven’t tried cooking this dish in a slow cooker yet. I’ll definitely do it, otherwise I only use it for pilaf - it’s a mess!

It burned, but not much. Baking ~130 degrees. 1 hour turned out to be a lot. In any case, it was very tasty! Like in a store.
