Step-by-step preparation

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

First you need to prepare the cookie filling. To do this, you need to take an iron can of condensed milk and remove the label from it. Next, you need to wash the jar in warm water, using a hard sponge to remove any remaining glue from the label. Place the washed jar in a large saucepan and fill it with cold water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the pan on the fire, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Attention! To prevent the jar from exploding, you must ensure that it is covered with water at all times. Cook condensed milk for 3.5 hours. Then cool it at room temperature. It is best to cook condensed milk the day before.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Next, you need to take a deep container, pour granulated sugar into it and beat in the eggs.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat the ingredients using the whisk attachment of a kitchen machine or with a mixer at high speed for several minutes until the ingredients reach a strong foam.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place a piece of butter in a saucepan. Place the ladle with the butter over medium heat and melt it without bringing it to a boil.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then immediately pour the melted butter into the egg-sugar mixture, add sour cream (preferably thicker sour cream) and add baking powder. Beat all ingredients again.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Next you need to knead a thick dough. To do this, you need to change the whisk to the dough hook attachment, used for kneading dough such as bread or pizza. Gradually add flour sifted through a sieve to the container with the remaining ingredients and knead the dough using a “hook”.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

When the dough is ready, you need to turn on the nut maker or multi-baker with special panels for preparing these cookies. When the panels heat up, you need to “tear off” a small piece from the dough and roll it into a ball. Place this ball in the cell of the panel. Also fill the remaining cells with small balls of dough. Next, close the lid of the multi-baker and bake the dough for several minutes (about 3-4).

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the finished nuts on parchment paper and let them cool. After that, fill the baked halves with homemade boiled condensed milk.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Now all that remains is to “bring up” the beauty and add some “zest”. To do this, you need to melt white and milk chocolate alternately in a steam bath. Then pour the melted chocolate into a pastry bag and use it to fill the cookies. And the final touch. Each cookie must contain a nut: almonds or walnuts.

For the New Year I was looking for a recipe for nut cookies and accidentally saw this option. I was very interested, because the idea is really wonderful! But for the New Year I prepared other nuts, and left the holiday cookies with boiled condensed milk in tins for Christmas. I baked them in advance because they won’t spoil. The main thing is that the children do not find it ahead of time) She baked the shells in a Soviet hazelnut maker on gas. I usually make the dough according to a different recipe, but I also liked this option. Thanks to sour cream, the cookies turned out softer and a little crumbly. The shape holds well. I didn’t cook condensed milk; I don’t trust the current condensed milk. Even though I take a good one, I don’t want to cook it. Although I remember well how I cooked jars with my mother and how delicious the dumpling was then) I had a lot of milk chocolate and walnuts, and I used them. I broke the chocolate into squares, put it in a cooking bag and melted it in the microwave. The small hole in the bag is very convenient for filling the shells. I warmed the walnut halves in the oven and placed them on top of the chocolate. The chocolate had already frozen on the table, but I put the nuts in the cold until they completely hardened. It turned out very tasty and unusual. My family is delighted! Thanks for the great idea!
