Drumsticks a la pilaf with steamed rice, carrots and onions

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare all products. Defrost chicken legs. If you need to determine the exact quantity, then put the drumsticks in an empty form, as much as will fit. If there is any meat left, put it back in the freezer. Peel the carrots and rinse with clean water.
STEP 2
Rinse the drumsticks well with water, pat dry and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with chicken seasoning and salt and stir. If desired, you can leave for 20 minutes to marinate.
STEP 3
Grind the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 4
Using a knife, cut the peeled onions into small pieces.
STEP 5
Lightly fry the carrots and onions in vegetable oil.
STEP 6
Place roasted vegetables on the bottom of the baking dish. Then scatter the raw rice.
STEP 7
Place the shins, they should fit snugly against each other. Of course, you can add any amount of meat if you wish. Pour hot water to cover the rice and add salt to taste. Water can be heated in advance in a kettle.
STEP 8
Cover the pan with foil or a lid and place in the oven. Turn on the heat, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Meat and rice are cooked for approximately 1 hour. It is necessary to periodically monitor the condition of the dish. If all the liquid has boiled away, you need to add a small amount of water so that the rice steams well.
