Crown Cake
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a Crown cake? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I used liquid dye, but you can use dry dye. For the cake, you can take ready-made sponge cakes, or you can bake it yourself. You will find recipe links at the end of this recipe under the steps. Also make the crown a day before assembling the cake. First of all, print the crown you like on a sheet of paper. This will be the stencil for assembly.
STEP 2
Wrap the stencil around the cylindrical object and secure.
STEP 3
Wrap the image on top with food parchment and coat with softened margarine.
STEP 4
Using a pastry press for mastic or any other convenient method, make a roll (sausage) of mastic (about 1.-2 mm thick).
STEP 5
Place this roller on the base of the crown.
STEP 6
Make all the other main elements of the crown in the same way.
STEP 7
Make and install small crown parts. Let the crown dry.
STEP 8
Take a clean regular gouache brush of suitable thickness. Powder the outside of the crown with silver food coloring.
STEP 9
Carefully remove the crown from the cylinder and powder the inside. Leave the crown to dry for a day.
STEP 10
Cut the cooled cakes lengthwise into two parts. Prepare the cream. In a bowl, beat the chilled cream with a mixer, then add condensed milk and pink food coloring. Beat everything until the mass and color are homogeneous.
STEP 11
Assemble the cake from ready-made sponge cakes (or cakes you baked). Coat the cake with cream and place the next cake on top. So collect the whole cake. Coat the entire cake with cream and smooth it out.
STEP 12
To decorate the cake with cream, take the nozzle as in the photo.
STEP 13
Apply a ribbon of frosting to the base of the cake using smooth up-and-down motions.
STEP 14
Apply subsequent layers of tape in the same way.
STEP 15
Decorate the top of the cake in a spiral with the same cream ribbon.
STEP 16
Place the crown on top. A delicate cake is ready to please your loved ones. The cake with a fondant crown for a girl is ready! It's time to serve the treat to the table.
