Cookies with pumpkin, sunflower, flax and sesame seeds

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Sift the flour. We do this in order to remove various foreign particles. I recommend not to neglect this process. It takes literally one or two minutes, but the quality of baking improves noticeably. Add baking powder, sugar, salt to the flour.
STEP 2

Next, in a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil and boiling water. You can take sunflower oil, or olive oil. Then add this mixture to the flour.
STEP 3

Mix dry and liquid ingredients. Mix the dough. It turns out soft and buttery. It is very pleasant to work with. The dough should not stick to your hands.
STEP 4

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin. I recommend rolling out immediately on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This way you won’t need to rearrange the cookies and waste time on it. The thickness of the dough is no more than 0.5 cm. Less is possible. Brush with beaten egg. It will help “attach” the seeds to the dough more reliably.
STEP 5

Scatter the seeds. I sprinkled flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds. You can, of course, get by with just one type of seed. It's a matter of taste. To secure the seeds, carefully roll them out again using a rolling pin. The surface will be leveled.
STEP 6

We send the cookies to bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Now the cookies are ready. Can be served.
