STEP 1

How to bake coho salmon steaks in foil in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. I took pre-prepared steaks. If you use whole fish (usually it is already gutted), it must be cleaned of scales, washed thoroughly and cut into steaks 1.5-2 cm thick. If the fish is frozen, defrost it at room temperature. But the best option is defrosting in the refrigerator. This way the fish will better retain its juiciness and nutritional properties.
STEP 2

Prepare the marinade. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, dried basil, rosemary and salt. Mix well. Choose any spices and seasonings that suit your taste, suitable for fish.
STEP 3

Pour the marinade over the steaks. Turn the steaks several times to coat all sides with marinade. Leave the fish to marinate for 30 minutes. Thanks to the action of the marinade, the steaks will be more juicy, tender and flavorful.
STEP 4

Place the steaks close together on a sheet of foil.
STEP 5

Close the foil and wrap it tightly on all sides.
STEP 6

Bake coho salmon steaks in an oven preheated to 180C for about 25 minutes. Cooking time will depend on the operating characteristics of the oven. After baking, open the foil carefully so as not to get burned by the steam.

Serve coho salmon steaks with fresh vegetables or any side dish. Bon appetit!
