STEP 1

How to fry classic potato pancakes? Prepare the necessary ingredients. For a brighter taste and aroma, you can take a little chopped garlic. Peel the potatoes and rinse thoroughly to remove dirt in running water. Peel the onion.
STEP 2

Grate the peeled potatoes and onions. For a more uniform consistency, use a fine grater. I rub it on a coarse one. This is a matter of taste.
STEP 3

Add egg, flour, salt and spices to grated vegetables. For spices, I recommend using a little ground black pepper and dry dill or parsley.
STEP 4

Mix everything well to obtain a homogeneous mass.
STEP 5

Heat the pan until hot. Pour some vegetable oil on it. Using a tablespoon, spoon some of the potato mixture into the pan and form into oval pancakes.
STEP 6

Fry the potato pancakes on both sides over medium heat until an appetizing, golden color. Draniki should be thoroughly cooked. Serve the finished pancakes hot, adding sour cream or garlic sauce to the dish. Bon appetit!
