Classic fresh cabbage soup with beef

STEP 1
How to cook classic cabbage soup from fresh cabbage with beef? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For cooking, you can take a piece of lean meat or meat on the bone. Rinse the meat thoroughly to remove small bones. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt.
STEP 2
Pour water over the meat, put it on the fire and bring to a boil. When boiling, foam will appear - it must be skimmed off. Cook the meat until soft for 1.5-2 hours. Then cut the meat into pieces and return it back to the strained broth.
STEP 3
Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces. Shred the cabbage. Place the potatoes and cabbage in the pan with the meat. Leave to cook for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 4
Peel and chop the onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the onions and carrots for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 5
Cut the tomato into small cubes. Add chopped tomatoes and ketchup to the pan. An excellent option would be ketchup for grilling and shish kebab. It will give the dish a pleasant aroma. Fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes. During this time, the tomatoes will become softer.
STEP 6
Place the prepared roasted vegetables in a saucepan. Add salt and spices to taste. Add bay leaf for flavor. Boil everything together for another 5 minutes and remove the pan from the heat.
STEP 7
You can add any fresh herbs to the cabbage soup.
STEP 8
